Sydney Hovasse is a Boston-Based Costume Designer and Technician. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design and Production from Boston University in May 2025, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Sydney grew up in Burlington, Massachusetts, and has known that she wants to be a designer since she was three years old. She has always been fascinated with the way clothing can serve to tell a story and bring a character or concept to life, and also holds specific interest in uplifting stories of women through her design work.

In 2025, Sydney was a recipient of the Albert S. and Esther B. Kahn Award from Boston University’s College of Fine Arts, which honors six students’ artistic excellence and supports their work after graduation.
