Sydney Hovasse is a Boston-Based Costume Designer and Technician. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design and Production from Boston University in May 2025, graduating Magna Cum Lade. Sydney grew up in Burlington, Massachusetts, and has known that she wants to be a designer since she was three years old. She has always been fascinated with the way clothing can serve to tell a story and bring a character or concept to life. Sydney has had a small business since 2018 where she sells handmade tote bags, scrunchies, and other hair accessories. She also does freelance tailoring for family, friends, and whomever else needs their pants hemmed or zipper replaced. Aside from things related to design and sewing, Sydney loves to run, swim, and surf. In her free time, she’s probably hanging out with her family, friends or two dogs, Jax and Remy.
